For generations, we’ve taken a down-to-earth, forward-looking attitude. Because accountability has always been part of our company culture, we support the United Nations Global Compact, an initiative which contains ten principles on human rights, working conditions, the environment and anti-corruption. We want our suppliers and collaborative partners to apply the same principles. All this is regulated in our code of conduct.
Sustainability efforts are among the essentials for good business operations in the long term. Accordingly, we take sustainable development into consideration for investments, acquisitions, relationships with customers and suppliers, and when developing products together with the customer.
We show respect for the environment through the efficient use of resources, working systematically on environmental issues and certification under ISO 14001 environmental management system requirements.
Local and social responsibility
AMB is a major local employer and plays an important part locally and regionally. We encourage local cooperation and play an active part in the local economy, while also collaborating with schools and universities by offering places for work experience, internships and degree projects.
We welcome visits from companies and schools, and we’re happy to make presentations about our areas of expertise. We know this is valuable and motivating for teachers and students alike, and it benefits both us and our surrounding area in the long term.
AMB also has a long tradition of offering summer internships to our employees’ young family members to provide them with work experience and improve their employability in later life. AMB also regularly supports local associations.
AMB regularly supports the Swedish Cancer Society, SOS Children’s Villages and Children’s Rights in Society..
