How is a property evaluated?

The basis for the verification and validation of a manufactured product is in determining how dimensions and functional requirements must be evaluated by jointly defining a verification and validation strategy. Accordingly, AMB is well furnished with skills and established statistical methods and various measurement techniques.

Measuring rooms and equipment

Our climate-controlled measuring room is equipped with a coordinate measuring machine with combined optical and tactile measurement, measuring microscope, pull test instruments for measuring various forces and a variety of other instruments.

We often build specific instruments for measuring an assembled product’s mechanical, sealing or general properties. And in the case of high-volume production, we check dimensions and assembly stages on the production line.

3D scanning

In an increasing number of projects, we encounter the need to verify a part’s geometric shape by comparison with CAD data, a field in which we have well-developed partnerships with providers of 3D, x-ray and optical scanning.
