Functional Design
Form. Function. Finish.
We’re able to achieve a great deal using our vacuum metallising and lacquering processes, either individually or in combination. Metallising is ideally suited for specular qualities in lighting reflectors or where the plastic part must look like metal for purely aesthetic reasons. All of our metallising layers are protected with a transparent topcoat, but we can also use tinted lacquers for different effects to make a part look like e.g. chromium, silver, gold or copper.
Creative lacquering provides a treasure trove of effects to revel in, from vibrant single colour lacquers to multi-coloured ABC and metallic effects to tactile lacquers and high-gloss piano lacquers. Almost anything is possible, and our lacquer techniques are among the very best in the industry – something our lacquer suppliers have also discovered, and they regularly test new lacquer systems in our facilities in Broakulla.
